VPN on Android phone (Galaxy S10) any advice ?

I'm going to China in 2 weeks and I think that I should definitely have a VPN there if I want to keep on going to Facebook, Google & co...

Any good VPN to recommend ? According to this article What is the best free and paid VPN for Android in 2019? ExpressVPN would be the best one for Android devices. What do you think ? I don't want to use a free one as I've read very bad things about them ...
