OMG I've freaking done it again!

My lock screen doesn't show the temperature anymore. I fixed it once but can't remember how. I have the current weather screen working, but the actual temp showing for me .
The menu says I need to have the Samsung weather widget on the home screen. I've tried a dozen weather widgets and none work. I've turned Nova on and off. Grrrrrr

Replacement upgrade

Hey turbo folks! Asurion just upgraded my Maxx to a Turbo 2. I'm not super happy about the size of this thing, but I'm sure the performance will ease my mind.
What will I like about this phone compared to the Maxx?
I will say that the Maxx speaker is awesome. And the size is perfect for my hand.
What are the chances they send me a leather backing?

Upgrading from Droid Ultra

I loved the Ultra. yes i said it.

I loved the loud speaker for music.

I loved the size. Don't want anything larger.

The camera was fine for my needs.

Im trying out the S7 Edge but dont like it. While it does feel good in the hand, the curved edge makes it hard to hit the 1 and 0 key! Didnt realize how much I used that key! Also dont like the volume keys on the LEFT.

I dont need the latest and greatest phone.

Any recommendations?

Note 2 t889 root issues.

19 attempts to root my note 2 t889 with cf auto root. Knox is disabled with package disabler, keep getting message there is no su binary and super su cannot install it. I'm running 4.3

Did anyone else have LG view talk randomly uninstall today?

So, I looked at my phone today to see that view talk was randomly uninstalling by itself. Huh? I went on the play store and it said that view talk has to be uninstalled by July 1st? Bizarre. Anyone know why this is?

Droid won't ring when called?

So my Droid won't ring when it's called. All other sounds are working, including notifications and media, but actual call ringtones won't play at all. Tried turning vibrate on and off, turning phone on and off, made-for-droid ringtones and everything. The only thing I've learned of importance is that I will select a ringtone and then immediately go back into the select ringtone screen and none of them will be selected. Please help!

Begging for Help! Voicemail Retrieval

I have been a verizon customer since the mid-90s!!!!

Bill kept increasing so i switched carriers 6 days ago.

I completely forgot to save my voicemails that Ive saved for literally 10 years.

My number WAS ported to the new carrier.

I have NOT closed my verizon account yet.

Can I go back to Verizon and reactivate that phone?

Any suggestions is GREATLY appreciated!

Just bought and am playing around with an S7

Picked one up used for $300 (Verizon). Screen is pristine, and the back is scratch free as well. The doofus selling it would have to drop it while getting out of his car at the McDonald's where I was meeting him. The Aluminum frame got nicked a bit but for $300 who's complaining?

I was able to smooth out the nicks so they are almost undetectable in the hands....

Marshmallow - Notification bar - No longer scrolling

Anyone else noticed notifications in the notification bar no longer scroll?
For ex, with my Instagram, it used to tell me "@soandso likes your picture"
Now just an icon shows.
The same is true with all of my other apps too.

Bleh, with every update, minor things I like always like change or go away.

Solved-Turn off notification sound?

I'm getting a notification sound on incoming emails and text messages which I'd like to turn off. I've gone to settings/sound & notification/default notification ringtone and set it to 'none', but I still get the noted notification sound. Any idea how to turn that off? Thanks.

S7 theme store issues..

Looking for answers or help.
Since I've picked up my s7 Verizon, bone stock out the box, just about every theme that contains live lock screens do not work on my phone, I've only come across 1 that did work. All the developers say it's the theme store and the theme store says it's the developers...I've done the normal things like restart, Uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared cache, cleared data, even wiped partion cache multiple times and nothing changes. Any ideas why they don't seem to like...

weird problems all of the sudden (s7 edge)

out of the blue today i started having strange problems with my sg7 edge...

-recent apps soft button not responding
-home button not responding (but if phone is locked or screen is off the button does turn the screen on and fingerprint scanner works)
-cannot expand the notification bar or access the settings button in the notification screen
-edge screen panel on right not working even though it is turned on

there were a couple of app updates i installed this morning, i think google...
