Chiropractor vs Doctors

So apparently, chiropractors are considered "real doctors". I take offense to that because my cousin continues to go to school in his mid-30s, is a practicing doctor, went to like 3 universities for his studies/practice, etc and some dude takes an online stretching course, and suddenly he's a doctor?

No offense (I might be wrong) but I really think if you're not spending years in an accredited medical university, you shouldn't be allowed to call yourself a doctor.
