Okay so I have been digging around and just can't find this information anywhere. When I receive a text, the notification center shows their information correctly... but when I reply, to anyone, the notification center displays my wife's name next to the messages I send. It is not showing up incorrectly on the other end, so I figure it has to be something in the notification center or text messages settings, but I've tried looking all over the place and I'm at my wits...

I got my droid phone (LG Optimus Elite) in 2012 and quickly set it up to send me my hotmail emails. All was fine and dandy until last week when it stopped sending any new emails. I called several different tech support places and they couldn't figure out what the problem was. Lately I've received my phone back from the police after it got seized for over a year. They tried to hack it, but couldn't overcome the passcode and encryption, so they simply did a factory data reset.

So apparently, chiropractors are considered "real doctors". I take offense to that because my cousin continues to go to school in his mid-30s, is a practicing doctor, went to like 3 universities for his studies/practice, etc and some dude takes an online stretching course, and suddenly he's a doctor?

No offense (I might be wrong) but I really think if you're not spending years in an accredited medical university, you shouldn't be allowed to call yourself a doctor.

Foldable Mid-range Motorola Razr for $1500?

I had an OG Razr and loved it. I would buy this IF the price was lower and it was at least close to flagship specs. IMHO no phone is worth $1500. If they dropped the price to under $1000 and upped the specs they wouldn't be able to make them quick enough but at this price and specs it's going to be another fail for a company that I want so bad to make a comeback. Lost Pictures during transfer

Hello. My wife was trying to clear some internal memory on her galaxy s5 by moving her pictures to her 32gb samsung sd card. She said she had 1200 pictures or so. About half way thru the transfer, it said there was an error transferring and it stopped. Then, she started getting notifications that the SD card removed, preparing SD card, SD card removed,... it just keeps going on until you finally pull the SD card out. Now, there are about 500 pictures that are no longer on internal memory....

Help restoring data from waterlogged phone

I dropped my Huawei P9 phone in water and now it wont switch on. I transferred the sim card to a new phone however i found that a lot of pictures, contacts, messages etc are on the old huawei phone and not on the sim card. After deleting a number from a contact list, it re-appears

I have a Samsung Galaxy S8. When I delete a phone number from a contact, it seems to take effect, but when I check the contact again, the number is still there.

Details as follows:

• Select Contacts.
• Select an entry (in this case, my Dad). There are two "Home" numbers listed; the old and the new (entered about a week ago).
• Press Edit.
• Under "Phone", press the "-" symbol next to the desired number. It is removed from the list.

Intermittent sound in music and ringtone

Hi guys ,
I have a problem in sound in my phone "meizu m5"
the sound does not play continuously , it plays ,stops for few seconds then plays again then stops again...& so on.. it's very annoying
however this does not happen in youtube or watching stored videos or playing games
only happens if you play music (audio) , selecting ringtone from sound settings or if the phone is ringing when someone is calling me

Android Auto got the long awaited update in the past few days. I use it a lot and give it a definite thumbs up. What does battery saver do

I was reading the tech notes and it says it sleeps the cellular connection until you pick your phone up. Does that mean you wouldn't get a phone call or any updates to internet apps at all or does it poll at some lesser frequency.
