is it a good idea to factory reset this korean phone edge 7samsung

hi
i have a samsung edge.
i dont receive voice mail notification when i come back from airplaine mode. tried to solve this didnt work.

i m thinking about doing a factory reset on this phone but i feel scared that i can make it run after.
the reason is that is is a phone from korea i bought on the net and when i put it in download mode korean caracters appear. 111.jpg - Casimages.com
