I am planning a cost effective automation for our remodeled home.

I have a file that only appears in the download directory when posting to a forum or such. Its in the top download selection menu. I have used search programs like sd maid and it cand fint the file. Just curious, who still loves their Samsung Note 10/10+ and why?? Which headset to you use? Would you recommend it? I'm in search for one to replace my old LG HBS-770. I'd love the HBS-1100, but frankly, I'm not spending $100+ on a headset. I need one that has multi-point, and preferably the around the neck type.

How can I find a screen (or whole) old android device? Ezio EZIO 9000B 5.7-inch 2.2GHz QUAD CORE

Is anyone able to advise where I might be able to find a replacement screen or a whole device for a phone bought in 2013 (yes, 2013!). It's an EZIO 9000B 5.7-inch 2.2GHz QUAD CORE 2.5GB-RAM+16GB A. (It's a Note 3 clone.)

It was bought on ebay from tecplus98 in 2013 - but tecplus98 is no-longer active and does not respond.

I'm trying to undertake a data recovery and the device's screen is not working and the storage chip hardware is non-standard, and hence I need a working screen to proceed.

Popcorn Time Not Working Without A VPN

Hello Folks,

I have recently started to face georestriction issues with popcorn time here is NSW Sydney. It used to work fine without a VPN and now I have to connect one to stream movies. I really dont want to pay for a streaming service or a VPN for that matter so I am on a 7 day trial with Ivacy VPN. Looking for an urgent fix. TIA.

32 inch TV what decent smart tv

I ha e an old 720 p Sony Bravia non smart TV which has a built in sound bar and was high end 15 years ago

I was thinking of updating to a new Samsung 41 inch but the lower end 720p and 1200 have bad reviews then the more expensive g50 alternativly the tcl low in model got high reviews but is 720p

Locked or unlocked Note 10

It is definitely time to upgrade from my Samsung S7, as it has become so slow and battery drain is now the norm. I would love to upgrade to Note 10, but sticker shock, especially at Verizon doesn't make it easy for me.

Trading in my old phone is not an option because its trade-in value is only $29.

I did see an unlocked Note 10 for $749 at the Microsoft Store, but It is a GSM model and the Verizon customer service rep told me it would not work to make calls on their CDMA network.

New Safety Check feature

I tried the new Safety Check feature.....and nothing happened on the other phones. I tried with my wife's phone checked and then my daughter's phone checked. Both are marked as an Emergency Contact and they never received an alert that I turned on Safety Check or an alert when I didn't respond to my phone asking if I was OK at the end of the Safety Check time. Maybe there is something on the Google server side that hasn't been flipped on yet since this just rolled out today?

My phone doesn´t turn on after update

So I did a downgrade to my moto g6 from android 9 to 8.
It worked fine, but it got an official security patch update, wich I put to install, but when the update installation finished my phone just died, now it doesn´t turn on, even the boot menu doesn´t show up, if I connect it to charge a blinking light appears.

Chrome won't stay disabled

Hi guys, I've been having an interesting issue. I've always had Chrome disabled because I use a different browser but it has recently become active again. It appears in my list of apps to update. Talk me away from Apple and onto Android

I've owned both.
Don't have loyalty to either.
I have to admit, Tim cook has gotten to me. My concern is security. Gathering "anonymized data"is fine, but how anonymized is the data?
And who would they share it with?
Basically, whatever I do with my phone is my business. Seems Android seems a little too eager to share personal info.

Droid 2 - Pandora - We're having unexpected technical difficulties

I installed Pandora on my new Droid 2 and it played for about a day then I started getting "We're having unexpected technical difficulties" when trying to start the app and the music never plays.

I have to repeatedly hit "ok" to close the message.

Anybody else having this problem? Any ideas?

does the pandora app just suck?

i had a droid and the app was just awful. it would always crash, took forever to load songs so i was just thinking that it was my phone but now i have an incredible and the same problem. songs will take about 30-40 seconds to load while on my ipad the song loads are pretty much instant. is the android app just bad?

Throwback question: Pandora or Slacker?

2010 one of the new trends was this new way to listen to music. And it was a music app. Before Spotify you had apps like Pandora and Slacker. On my OG Droid I rocked Pandora. In fact I made a frustrating post about it then. That is when I had the Slacker Radio people tell me to go over to that app. I tried it an ended up preferring to stay with Pandora. But I learned that OG Droid people on this forum seemed to fall into 2 camps. Either Slacker or Pandora.

Can't disable email notifications on lock screen

I'm using the Samsung email app and wasn't having any problems with notifications waking up the lock screen. All of a sudden, whenever I get an email the lock screen wakes up, which is particularly annoying at night. I went into the Notifications (Lock Screen) settings and turned notifications off, but I still get the notifications. This doesn't happen for texts, Gmail, or any other app. I don't want to disable email notifications completely, as I still want them in my status bar.

Any ideas...
