SD card backup and recover

My SD card failed and was unable to recover it. Luckily I had made a complete backup of the card 2 days ago. After getting a new 16g class 10 card I formatted in PC with a sd card formatter then put the card in my Dx and did another format with the phone. After I hooked the Dx to the pc and transferred all the files back over. Restarted the phone and realized this was not as straightforward as I expected. Moved all apps from SD card back to phone and cleared all cache from each app....
