Google Home shipments increase 709 percent

I guess releasing a smaller version and making it more widely available than the Amazon Alexa really has helped the increase in sales.

Back in Q1 2017, Google shipped 700,000 of its Home smart speaker. That compares to Q1 2018, when Google shipped a record 2.4 million smart speakers. That is a 709 percent increase year-over-year and helped the company capture 26.5 percent of the market.
