Soft Bricked Pixel 2

I was trying to install some custom kernel and then eventually root my phone, however during the process I have soft bricked my phone. It is basically stuck on the bootloader screen.
I tried flashing a number of pixel 2 ( walleye) factory images, ranging from .010 build number to 0.025 build number. However nothing works. I tried erasing all the partitions using fastboot and then flashing all the stock images, nothing seems to work.
