Good alternative to Light Manager- Suggestions please

I'm currently using Light Manager on my Galaxy s7 to color the notification light for emails, SMS, etc. It works about 50% of the time. I miss a TON of SMS messages because the notification light is flakey and doesn't always work.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a rock solid, reliable alterative to Light Manager? I've also used Light Flow with similar results. Kind of miss my Blackberry for this feature.
