LG Urbane and Moto Z Force pairing issue

Not sure when this started but for several months now I have to re-pair my watch to my phone every morning. I take my watch off at night to charge it on the charge cradle. When I wake up in the morning I take my phone to the living room which is outside the Blue Tooth range. After aa few cups of coffee I go back upstairs to get ready for work and the watch attempts to re-pair with the phone requiring my to acknowledge the numeric code on both devices.
