Better geotagging

I would like to be able to take a picture and have it tagged with location while out pursuing various hobbies. The camera app does tage the photos, but the latitude and longitude accuracy used is city level. I would like to have the photos tagged with maximum gps accuracy (>10 meters) so I can return to the exact same spot if necessary. Is there any app that can do this for me? GPS Essentials is supposed to offer this, but it can't open the camera on my D2.
