What are the Differences between the Samsung Gear S3 frontier and the Classic

What are the Differences between the Samsung Gear S3 frontier and the Classic. Can the Frontier use a Steel Band. If i get a Verizon Version will i be able to use it on T-mo at a later time if i choose to move. I see the Classic has Buttons and the Frontier has a Dial. Is that the wain Difference Between them. If anyone has them any Info is greatly Appreciated as well as which you prefer.
