Can't type text

I can't type text in any of my messaging Apps. Anytime I tried this pop up,"unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped or messenger has stopped". I tried everything I could, wiped cache data, wiped cache partition, even hard reset my phone but I still can't text.
I am using Droid turbo xt1254 with Android 6.0.1 operating system.
Need help please.
