Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N900V) running Lollipop 5.0;

Recently I attempted to root the Note 3 and it failed; ended in an endless bootloader. I was then forced to reload the OS. Before the OS was reloaded I as able to swipe my hand over the lock screen and it would display a preview screen where I will briefly see the time date and the number of missed calls, unread text messages, unread emails, etc. I have what I think turned on/enabled the option in the Settings screen.
