2nd fast charging issue

After updating to marshmallow no longer Turbo charges even though it is turned on in setting and connected to a turbo charger and cable. Worked until Marshmallow. And when you have it on the screen with the Turbo charger setting it will show on, but when you plug the phone in it turns off.
Did Samsung pull a Apple tactic and make it that you have to buy their turbo chargers and cables now?
