Why is the Internet suddenly not working on my phone?

I have a Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) and it's worked very well for the year and a half that I've had it. This evening, it won't access the internet any more. I'm baffled.
I've probably messed it up myself. I was fiddling with various settings to try to troubleshoot a problem earlier today and may have turned something off that needs to be on or vice versa but I'm at a loss to figure out what.

how can I keep all audio files from showing in my music player?

I have a problem on my Windows Vista that began afetr the purchase of an external Hard Disk Freecom.
A few days afetr the purchase I disconnected it while it was writing and, since that moment, every time I connect and disconnect it, the PC go to freeze mode for 5 minutes.

VPN over PDANet

Good afternoon, I'm using usb tethering with my Motorola Droid to my laptop. The data connection works however when I try to connect to VPN using pdanet tethered data connection on the laptop I get an error 619 - could not establish connection.
PDANet faq says to setup vpn on the droid and it will work, I have done that and it is set up correctly as I can connect to vpn with the Droid alone.
It is standard pptp vpn connection. I am not restricted by pdanet trial usage restrictions.

Unfortunately app stopped on multiple apps

My friend has a Nook, and has been playing games on it fine up until Monday. Now it won't let her play FreeCell. I tested other apps, and most others also have the same issue (Firefox, Twitter, etc.).

I receive a message that says "unfortunately app (it names it) stopped, and it goes back to the main screen.

Slow Speeds Over Tether

I have a google pixel 3 XL and use pdanet for my tethering, so on speedtest I can easily get 80mbps (im not connected to wifi, just cellular), however when using usb c to usb c directly to my motherboard, on pdanet I only get 30mbps max. Yikes, Hard Buttons Don't Work

Okay, so I may have dropped my husband's phone while trying to take a group picture of him with the guys. [emoji849]
The phone still works great and I got some wonderful pictures, but his power button and volume buttons no longer work.
I ordered an Asurion replacement, but how do we power off the phone to switch over to the replacement since the power button doesn't work?

Block settings for sms and phone calls seem to be changed and conjoined

On Android 7 OS there seems to be a change the way blocking works. I got a new pop up message when trying to block a spam sms in Google messages.
It asks to update settings. to block call and sms. When enabled blocked #s go to voicemail and sms blocks no longer get archived but seem to just get dropped.
Has anybody else noticed this or found a way to adjust or rollback to previoussettings as I haven't found a way.
I want to revert back to blocked sms just got archived so they can be checked...

Why does my Samsung Galaxy s8 plus randomly pause while media apps are playing? Also the Samsung music app pauses when ever I unlock the phone.

Looking for a robust phone migration tool

When I moved from my S5 to my Pixel a couple of years ago, the Helium app was the only method I could find to transfer all my data (app no longer in the Play Store, etc.) from phone to phone. Now as I contemplate a Pixel 3 purchase, I can't get Helium on my to see my phone. My phone is running Android 9, has an unlocked boot loader, but is not currently rooted. Any recommendations?

Notification sound problem

I have recently started to notice that my Z2 Force has an issue with notification sounds. When I get a notification, I only sometimes get any sound and most times when it does make a sound, it's barely noticeable. And this is with the Ring volume control at max volume.

Anybody else have this issue?

Phone thinks it's Bluetooth connected after headphones are unplugged

This problem started after I started using Bluetooth headphones regularly.

Here's the deal.
I had Bluetooth headphones connected.
Now I disconnect and turn Bluetooth completely off.
At this point I can play audio over my phone speakers fine with no problem.
Now I plug in my regular headphones through the headphone jack. Sound is still fine.

I'm working in an android app that has to "talk" via Bluetooth with a device. App has to be able to send and receive data.
I started to work with BluetoothAdapter but couldn't make it work properly so I leave it for a few weeks. Now I would like to continue with that and I wonder if is mandatory to use the BluetoothAdapter.
