My starred contacts are allowed to call thru when "do not disturb" is engaged. Works fine.

Texts from those starred contacts are not allowed thru. Is that just the way it works? Is there a way to allow certain texts thru?

From 2 days a new security patch is available for download over the air.
It was downloaded .
I pressed to install and the phone restarts and tried to install while on the blue screen .

Always On Display

Just installed Android 9 last night. One change is to the always on display. On Android 8 I had it set to only be on from 11pm-8am, easily adjustable in the settings. On Android 9 there is no setting to set the time for always on display to be on. It's either on or off. Am I missing something?

Screen does it's own thing, presses buttons, goes into apps..

and it does this ALL on it's own. It started the other day when I downloaded a new rom from clockworkmod. The screen started doing it's own thing, only when the screen was on. It would go crazy, messaging and just pressing any buttons it could. I erased my SD card, found a rom on it that I could not delete off the PC unless I was in safe mode, so I am guessing it had some virus. Loving the look except that all my notifications are popping up with a bubble window now. doubled checked my notification settings and I am not seeing anything that is showing how to disable that. Looking for delivery/currier type app

I have read here, and went through the market, but I can't quite find what I am looking for.

I would like some kind of app where I can add, manually or copy/paste an address, and then have someone finger sign for the delivery. I have Model Release, but I am not a fan of the signature area. Tracking application?

Recently the iphone was discovered to have a taking feature on it. Is there an app out there for android that would track my whereabouts? I am looking for something that will log my position every hour or so and plot it on a map to view later. I would like this data to be saved so I can compile my data points for a month or year.

I'm looking for something a little more long term than a walk tracker or sports tracker.

App will not load anything through mobile data but works fine through WiFi. Tried uninstalling and re-installing, still the same.
