Call forwarding turns itself on

I recently switched from AT&T to T-Mobile and have had a few issues regarding call forwarding.
1. Call forwarding will become activated even if the settings don't reflect this. It will happen at all times, and will not ring beforehand, just goes straight to voicemail.

Anybody else have a "too many games" issue?

Does anybody else have a problem with downloading way too many games and then only playing the same, like, five games and then once in a while you'll play one of the others and enjoy it but then you go back to the main five or whatever? And you keep buying games when they are on sale but never play em? And then you find yourself with a huge backlog and it's almost overwhelming? Anybody else?

Trying to open a PDF file on Google Docs

I've made a PDF file and its in my Google Drive. I can see and open it. I want to be able to access it from Google Docs.
The only thing I did is upload as choose open file with Google docs on a computer.

When I see the PDF on my phone, no choice of Google Docs is there to open the file with.

How can I.open it or move a copy to my Google Docs?
Or, do I do it on my laptop and then I can see it via the phone's accessing the Google Docs?

Why is my LTE device dropping in data.

1) If the device is not staying connected and constantly dropping data it could be a hardware issue.

Solution: Change out devices. Try doing an exchange and if you still experience constant drops you may need to look at swapping to a different handset all together (ie from Nexus to razr).

2) 4g has been working fine but lately I am getting no connection, mms fails, and sometimes calls will not connect

Solution: Swap out sim cards.

3) My 4g works great but out of no where...

Updated youtube app won't install

I searched first... Can't find a way to install the updated youtube app from the market. Tried deleting from system/apps with root explorer, rebooting and the market app still won't install. I flashed back to cm 6 in nandroid and did the same (deleted the apk, reboot, install from market) that worked. Tried then taking that updated apk over to shadowrom. No dice. ideas?

Turbo Battery replacement

I have had this turbo since day 1, in October 2014 and the battery is definitely showing it's age. I really like the phone and it does everything I need so, the question is , has anyone already replaced the battery?

Finally had to give up the trusty Ultra. I'm sure that's funny or ridiculous to a lot of you, but 3½ years and still working fine until I leaned on it in my pocket and wrecked the screen. As I write this on a Z2 force in a water bag
I can answer calls
Make a call
But not hang up a call till the other person hangs up or voicemail times out and hangs up

I can click power btn and swipe up to do my password or say ok Google to get to pw prompt. Fingerprint scanner does not work(obviously) and voice recognition does not authenticate me to auto login

How to properly block ads in Android/Cyanogenmod?

Cyanogenmod 11, just installed with factory wipe, on a Samsung Galaxy Note II.

Adblock 1.1.3 installed via F-Droid, with permanent superuser permissions granted. Rebooted to make sure any changes take proper effect.

It works fine on WLAN, but on WWAN (3G, etc) it prevents a working connection in Firefox and the built-in browser. However, ping still works from a command line, so I do have an Internet connection. In the browser, it stops at something like 30% loading, then eventually times...

McDonald's vs Chick fila

Where I'm at, Chick fila is right next to McDonald's. And the Chick fila can be wrapped around both at the drive thru and inside, and people would just wait. Only time the line outside of McDonald's is longer is on a Sunday.

I have been guilty of waiting. Though McDonald's have the better fries, Chick fila is the better restaurant. It's cleaner, the people are more helpful and friendlier, and the food overall tastes better. Especially if you go to a Chick fila Truett, where they serve green...

Signature not showing up

Since this says site assistance I'm thinking this is as good a place as any to post this.

My signature won't show up. I've tried editing it over and over again. I've tried it with my old Droid Z while with VZW, my Samsung tablet on WiFi, and with my G7 with T-Mo using LTE. The issue is with the site. Can an admin look into this for me?

Starred Contract Not Ringing

At the moment, I have two starred contacts.
One will ring thru the Do Not Disturb setting, the other one pops up on the display and vibrates, but won't ring.

Until I see pictures I am leaning toward hoax

I am weary when only one publication covers a story. It seem to open the door for credibility, especially when there are no pictures or actual court filings. But just in case I am wrong, I wanted to write on it any way (Please, not again. Samsung is on a roll.).

Some Samsung Galaxy Note 9 users reporting speaker issues with their phone

There are already multiple reports that the volume level through the bottom speaker of the device automatically gets lowered after a few minutes of playing media.

I noticed that my speakers are not as loud as my wife's Galaxy S9 or my Daughter's S9 Plus. Hopefully an update will fix this.

I just noticed my first System Update with the new (new to 2017 Moto phones) Background System Updates process. I'm assuming this is the August security patch. Pixel 2 set itself to battery saver--at 99%?!?!

Yesterday afternoon I picked up my phone to find a 1) a red battery icon, 2) Notification that several apps were exceeding Battery Saver parameters and did I want to "kill" them.

For some reason my phone set itself to go to battery saver mode at 99%, not the normal 15%. I reset it and didn't think much about it...until I read this....

Any one mining Bitcoin / Ethereum? I can't believe how much these coins have been going up in value over the past few weeks. I was into bitcoin a few years ago and then lost interest. If I only would have stayed in it!

I just got my mining rig going again last month. It's a Intel core i5 with a EVGA GTX 1070. It takes about 10 days to get 1/10th of an ether coin.

At present I have a motorcycle contact system to connect to the cell phone via Bluetooth to be able to receive any phone calls while I am on the road. the first time i turn on Bluetooth and sync them with the system, first enter the code, here the unit needs to watch 4 zeros. From the ones I know a phone number can use 1234 just like their code? And this certainly will not work with my internal communication system.

S9 loses signal

Is anyone having this problem also? You have reset manfully by the settings I shouldn't have to do that. It does it when I leave my area in traveling say searching for signal. I call Tmobile they say to reset it manually....I call that not a fix. It under warranty I think it a software issue.

Note 9 Benchmarking disappoints

I am curious as to why when I run the benchmarking app anututu on the note 9 I consistently get approx 168000 but when I ran it previously on the note 8 got 203000. Do I maybe need to factory reset my note 9 and then rerun and gradually install apps and see what is causing the slow down ?

Screen shots to big to post

I'm having a problem with posting screen shots. When I try to upload them I get the message that the file is to big. I've had this problem on my Droid Z and now again on my G7. I'm not using Tapa, I'm using a browser. What size do I need to resize the pics to? Or am I better off using Tapa? If that's the case has the issue with battery drain with Oreo and Tapa been resolved?

Display question

I didn't change anything, on purpose, but my icons have a light colored and the bottom of my screen is less opaque than the rest of the screen.

Where I have several app shortcuts grouped together, the background is light.

It's not s life and death thing. Just wondered where this is controlled from? Not sure if this is part of adaptive icons, but don't think so.

Tried to upload a screenshot, but file was too large.

Two Questions About Oreo

We've noticed several differences with Oreo on our Galaxy S7 that we like. However, there are two that are causing problems.

1. How can we prevent unnecessary apps from running in the background, and 2. how can we quickly and safely manage cache storage? We have a good sized number of apps, and going through each separately takes a lot of time.
