Grand Theft Auto 3 Controller Solution

I have a Galaxy S7 Edge and got a USB input adapter so I could plug a controller into it to play Grand Theft Auto 3. Plugging an Xbox 360 Rock Candy wired controller into the phone worked fine, but when the triggers are pulled, the camera gets permanently stuck in a spin. I tried a DualShock 4 controller and the button mapping was all off, and the triggers had the same problem.
