How to copy files to the PC?

I used to do this...a no brainer. I hook up the S8 to the PC with a USB cable and it shows up on my PC file manager as a drive and I copy files. Now when I plug it in, it's just charging? What happened to the option of copying files over??? Grrrrrr. Having a senior moment her.
