Soft Keys not working

I've got a Sony Xperia Z3 Compact and since today the soft keys (back, home, recent) stopped working.

I don't think this is a hardware problem, because when the soft keys are hidden and other buttons are in place, these ones work. Or if I set portrait mode and change the position of the soft keys, they still don't work. Also, I've done a touch screen test and the area where the soft keys are is working.

Factory reset the OS doesn't fix the problem.
