Is it safe to download YouTube videos through online video downloader?

i have installed vidmate video downloader on my android mobile for downloading youtube videos from a third party website Download - Vidmate and just want to ask is it safe to download in android mobile?
If not then please suggest me any other safe app for downloading videos.
