Noise interference making call in Honda

I have a 2018 and a 2019 Honda civic... Well, my wife has a 2019 Honda Civic. Hooking my Droid Turbo 2 through the hands free system, no one can hear what I am saying because of the clicking and background buzz in the call. This noise/interference gets worse as RPM increases. However, I do the same test using my wife's Apple phone and the calls are as clear as a bell. So.... anyone have a fix for this. Honda won't help because the Apple phone works. It appears call is going through...
