Transparent News / Glass Skin for News

I'd like to get a news widget that has a glass/transparent look.

Ideally, I'd love to have something that looks exactly like Francois Deslandes' weather widget.

Any ideas? Full-page display preferrable, but not required. I've looked around, and I can't quite match what I'm looking for.
