Gallery App suggestions please

I need a good gallery app to put on my new Z2 Force. I only have two requirements. The gallery app built into my old LG V20 did what I needed but the Z2 does not.

1) Must have ZERO ADs, I don't mind paying a couple bucks for an app I will use often

I'm getting a bunch of spam calls that look a lot like my phone #. They tend to have the same first 6 digits as mine or at least the same area code of mine & my out of state family. It seems like this is a well-known spam issue that has no great solution. I have about 50 #s on my blocked list. So I thought of a workaround. Shatterproof screen

I just ordered myself a Z2 Force to replace my LG V20. I know the screen is easy to scratch but I opted for this instead of the Z2 Play because the Force has a little more processing power and a much higher resolution screen.

My question is that I have read that the shatterproof film can be removed but what is underneath? Can I peel that soft film off and replace it with something better like a Zagg film?
Or am I better off just adding on top of it?

So, I recently changed my old Motorola for a Huawei. In the Motorola, I usually used Chrome to browse through the internet. However, I also used Dolphin, because it did something Chrome didn't do: when I zoomed a web page (such as a news article), the text not only increased in size, but also adapted to the mobile screen. Thus, I didn't have to move the screen horizontally, but only vertically.


Now, in my Huawei phone, when I zoom a web page using Dolphin, it does not adapt the text...

Issues with Phone App

I am having issues with the phone app. This morning, it starting doing this thing where the phone rings, but no answer screen pops up. Fortunately, I've been able to accept calls from my watch. Also, I upgraded to Android Pie a few weeks ago, and everything has been working great. Now, when I do accept a call from my watch, the phone screen is just white (no animations), and looks very basic, with only buttons to end call, mute, and keypad... no video call, etc,

Any idea what could be going on?

OK, so I have the old original Moto X, and only today did Verizon make the update available. Took a long time to download, as expected, it is the whole OS after all, and all or most of the apps needed to update too. So much activity was going on all at once after the update was applied that the phone was v-e-r-y s-l-o-w no matter what you tried to do. And many of my apps would freeze during updates.

Hi folks,

I'm relatively new to Android and this is my first post here, although I'm always hanging around picking up hints/tips/info.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus (GSM) and recently installed Onavo to monitor my data usage as I only have 500mb on my plan. Whilst taking a look at what apps are using most of my data I noticed that, pretty high up the list, there is a system app called "keychain" which has used 9.2MB this month.

Automatic updates turned off, but a few keep doing it anyway

My phone doesn't have a ton of room, so I have automatic updates of apps turned off. But ones that came with the phone (e.g. Instagram and Facebook) will do it anyway. Ones I actually installed myself never do. Was just wondering if there's any way to actually get it to not automatically update anything.

Spotify deal with Samsung

I was going to try out a 30 day trial of the premium of Spotify so I can listen to nonstop music while I'm out running with my new Samsung Wear buds I got yesterday. Verizon Note 8 just received Android 9!

Today my phone informed me that it was waiting to install the "latest" android version 9. Just installed it and wondered if anyone had any issues or other interesting things I should know. So far the phone received a call fine but I have little other experience yet. Of course all the icons look different so that will take some getting used to.

Has anyone seen this yet? Moto has paired with iFixit to start selling genuine OEM repair kits for select Moto phones. I think it's a great idea personally. I bought all the tools a few months ago and have already replaced a few screens. The hard part is finding screens, or batteries, that are genuine. This should make that process much easier. And the prices are excellent, compared to other on-line repair parts sources. Obviously the phones they are selling parts for are over 12...

Recently, I was unfortunate enough to accidentally drop my Droid Turbo in a parking lot, completely shattering the screen.
