Verizon concerned about phone theft

Verizon kills its generous unlocked-phone policy and will begin locking new phones

So Verizon went from somewhat unlocking phones to locking them out of concerns for theft.

I'm getting 5G being around the corner haven't influenced their decision the slightest bit.
