S8+ Won't Start

I went to check my phone a little bit ago, and when I did the fingerprint thing, it didn't unlock. I then realized that the phone was completely off. When I tried to power it up, nothing happened. It's been on the charger now for half an hour, and nada - nothing when I attempt to power it up, not even an LED to indicate that it's accepting a charge. I got it brand new from Verizon maybe a month ago, so I'm sure exchanging it under warranty won't be an issue, but I'd prefer to have my...
