Sometime between noon and 5 today all the conversations in Messages on my Pixel disappeared. I have many messages in many conversations but when I open Messages I have an introductory screen as if I never ran it before. I am looking for an app that can store phone contacts separate from the ones that are stored by the default contacts app. So that the default contacts app does not have any access to those contacts. I think this is possible if the other app stores them in a diff format...but I'm not able to find any app that can store contacts other than .vcf

My only problem with my Galaxy Note 9 is video recording! Why does this phone only limit you to 5 minutes of video recording time? With my Pixel XL I had unlimited recording time with less ram and less storage! With 8 gigs of RAM and 1TB of storage I should have more than enough space to handle it.

1st post so be easy!!! I just got a Motorola Droid primarily so I can access my work email (usps). I have access on my home computer and use Mifi and it works just fine and I have to go through vpn (cisco) and they also run a cache cleaner. Problem is, it won't work on the phone. I could get to the log on screen on the sales clerks Droid but it would hang up when I logged on but I can't even get that far with mine. What app do I need to install to get underway?

Like if I want to share a picture from my gallery to a friend's timeline, I can no longer select that option from the dropdown menu in Facebook from Android's built-in Share menu. I now have to actually enter the app to do this. This is on the full FB app on both tablet and phone.

Have an S8 that is a little over a year old. Have charged wirelessly since day 1. Now, all of a sudden it stopped working. I have tried the phone on different wireless chargers (we have 3 in the house, all samsung) with no luck. My phone (the one in question is my husband's) works fine on all three. I've had a Moto Z ver.1 for over 2 years. I've been thinking of upgrading to the Note S9 or the Pixel 3. I looked at both in a verizon store. I goofed around with them but noticed one major issue. Neither launched the flashlight or camera with hand motions like my Moto Z. I ask the sales guy & he said the "Chop-Chop" motion to launch the flashlight & the " Twist-Twist" to launch the camera were only on Moto phones. Is that true? I am unable to go to Samsung Pass to make any changes after the N960USQ1ARL1 Update I did on 1/8/2019 @ 9:09PM EST. I had no Issues Prior. I get a Pop Up "Your phone has been rooted. Samsung Pass can not be used on rooted Phones for security reasons." I NEVER Rooted this Phone. Under Phone Status it shows "Official". I have a Note 9 SM-N960U from Verizon Wireless. Alright guys/gals, my Huawei Watch is starting to feel like it needs to be replaced. I'm impatient when it comes to waiting for new toys, so I'd like to get one soon. So I've been waiting patiently for my return to Android. Been on iOS for the last three years and I am pretty tired and bored of it.
So Best Buy has a pretty good deal on the P2 and P2 XL right now. $150 and $300 off respectively. No trade in or new line required. Add in the current trade in value of my 7+ and I could get the XL 64gb for $215 or the 128gb for $315. Broke up over 24 months of course.
