Why no app to backup data?

The few that I've looked at require root and I'm not interested in doing that just to back up data. I seems like it should be simple if "My Backup" and similar apps can backup all the apps and contacts etc., why no data? That would seem to be pretty basic. I switched phones an lost all my notepad text files and my poker scores that I worked for a year to achieve.

Motorola's android one coming to AT&T and TMobile

But not Sprint or Verizon. Will be available exclusively at Best Buy for $399.
Unfortunately, today's Motorola announcement makes no mention of the larger Motorola One Power coming stateside. The One Power has a 6.2-inch screen, slightly more powerful Snapdragon chip, upgraded cameras, and a much bigger 5,000mAh battery. It also replaces the glass back with metal. For now, that One remains exclusive to India....

Facebook removed sharing to friends' timelines from Android share

Like if I want to share a picture from my gallery to a friend's timeline, I can no longer select that option from the dropdown menu in Facebook from Android's built-in Share menu. I now have to actually enter the app to do this. This is on the full FB app on both tablet and phone.

Why would FB remove this feature?

At&t might be in trouble

Testing out that TMO with the one plus. Now the one plus might not be a keeper, can't justify spending another $600 as this is not world's better than my current phone, but TMO might stick around. I need to test a few more spots in my area. But it it holds up, att might lose another customer.
