record higher quality audio

How do I record higher quality audio (eg. 22.05 or 44.1Khz)? Right now I'm using MediaRecorder, but have been unable to figure out how to change bit depth or sample rate.

Thanks

Note 8 battery case

So I bought a battery case.. Anyone else use them? I feel as though my battery in my phone dies much faster just resting with the case on than in just my regular case.... I've noticed this for a while. I haven't used the case in a month or 2 but charged it yesterday to use today and my phone hasn't been used at all but it's dying fast..

Nothing jumps out in the battery stats.. Doesn't show I'm charging the case by usb.... Just looking for other insight.

Who's picked up the V30?

Who's picked one up ? Is anyone planning on getting one soon ? I'm just curious as it seems like a solid device . I went into T-MOBILE yesterday played with one and interesting they are not available in store for purchase . Sales person informed me they were not shipped to Northeast stores ..which if true way to sell that new phone ...also has me thinking why they don't sell as well ...

christmas sales

amazon is claiming there were around 20 million echo dots sold this christmas season. It was the number one in sales over everything. that is a lot of echos. I personally did not think the would sell as many as google home since google home is sold at walmart. but could be wrong.

The Official Screenshot thread (all models)

The app drawer thread gave me an idea. We have screenshot forums in most of the actual phone forums. But not one for all. We are all brothers and sisters.
Let's, dare I say it: Be Together, Not The Same.
VERY few phones can have a screen that's all that unique. Especially since many of us use Launchers.
So let's do a site covering screenshot thread. Cool?
(Notice: I have no authority to call anything "Official")

OK, so here's mine.
I had Nova forever but always looking for something new....
